Why Neck and Jawline Liposuction?

Neck Liposuction is a very common procedure in younger men and women who do not yet have skin laxity but have fat excess leading to a bulge under their chin. This is a very common procedure that takes only 40 minutes and can be done awake under local anesthesia or asleep under general anesthesia. The excess fat is painlessly removed, and the overlying skin retracts into a better position to improve the overall contour of the neck. Also, Liposuction under the jaw further enhances the contour of the face by debulking the excess fat of the lateral neck. Patients are incredibly happy with this procedure.

What Can You Expect Before Neck and Jawline Liposuction?

Dr. Stein will examine your neck and tell you if he thinks you are a good candidate for the procedure. Optimal candidates have excess neck fat but good skin quality with no skin or muscle redundancy. If you are a candidate Dr. Stein will describe the procedure in detail and together you will decide whether the procedure will be done under local or general anesthesia.

What Is the Recovery Like for Neck and Jawline Liposuction?

The recovery after neck liposuction depends on the amount of fat removed and the amount of swelling that develops. Bruising and swelling is normal. This largely resolves by 1-2 weeks but commonly persists for 1-2 month. You can return to work and exercise immediately after the procedure so there is no downtime. The final aesthetic can take a couple months to be achieved.

I met with dr Stein and I instantly knew this was going to  be different he truly cares and listens to all your concerns. I had a breast reduction and lift on asymmetry breast a month ago if I tell you, he went above and beyond my expectations minimal pain, and bruising , I trust Dr Stein so much that I am here a month later ,   two days, postop  from a upper Bleph feeling great.  I cannot recommend dr Stein.  enough, one thing that really stands out is that I have his personal cell phone number and I could reach him at any time as well as his email.
